Every Sunday from April to December in Chattanooga, Tennessee there is a fun place to hang out, eat, shop and enjoy some entertainment. If you are looking for local fresh fruit and vegetables, plants or art, jewelry or hand made furniture this is the place to be on Sunday. There are numerous vendors from all over the Chattanooga area that frequent the market every Sunday. The artists include potters, painters, photographers, wood carvers, jewelers, and much more. There is one gentleman that makes bamboo fishing poles, another that makes unique metal sculptures. No matter what unique creations you might be looking for you can find it at the market. If you are in need of some fresh vegetables or fruits you can find some of the best selection in the area at the market. If you are looking for plants for your yard or your garden you can also find a varied selection at the market. Maybe you would just like to spend a Sunday afternoon being entertained, you can come to the market and be very well entertained. There are typically several different musicians at the market on Sunday. Blue Grass, Rock, Country music, various types of music may be found at the market on any given Sunday. One of the most entertaining activities has been the belly dancing, as you can see the entertainment is truly varied. Food is never a problem at the market, numberous local food vendors show up each Sunday. There is as much variety in the food as in the entertainment and art. Mexican food, pizza, sandwiches, BBQ and the ever popular hot dog and hamburger are all available. The Chattanooga Market is found at the Tennessee Pavillion 1826 Carter Street, Chattanooga, TN.
